I don’t just travel to
these places. I set love
stories in them.
Fair warning: I will absolutely make you fall
in love with an Irish pub, a Nepalese
mountain, and a woman who packs
heels for everything.
For years my studio was a basement and my day job was helping people at the big-box store. At night, everything changed. I’d turn on the soundboard, sit behind a muted mic, and let extraordinary humans invite me into their lives—their struggles, their triumphs, the moments that broke them open, and the decisions that put them back together. Bestselling authors. Everest survivors. POWs. People who had stared down the impossible and walked toward it anyway.
Every single one changed me.
I started asking harder questions. I started taking bigger risks. I was dropped by helicopter onto the side of a mountain in Nepal and stayed with villagers in places most people will never see. I opened a store in Kathmandu to support local women, flew into Tel Aviv just to sit across from a man with a story worth hearing, and somewhere along the way collected twenty countries’ worth of moments that refused to stay quiet. Once I started seeking, I was changed.
She built an empire on Irish blarney she didn’t have. Now Ireland wants it back.
Learning from people such as Paul, Nando, Charlie, and Eric, I've learned true courage and meaning come from choosing others and refusing to stay defeated: Paul’s fearless adaptability turned him from an interview voice into a trusted friend and partner in bold ventures; Nando’s decisive trek off the mountain created generations and showed how a single choice can reshape a life’s story; Charlie’s selfless act of protecting his men revealed that serving others uncovers unexpected strength; and Eric’s determination to survive for his mother proved that love for others can be the simplest, most powerful reason to keep going.
